KASE launches educational project for the country’s students- Stock Market Simulator

The Stock Market Simulator enables the students of economic and financial disciplines to take part, free of charge, in the trading sessions of the Kazakhstani companies with top liquidity, organized by the Training Trading System (TTS). It was established on the basis of the real-life trading system of the KASE and all quotations are taken from the real trading sessions, allowing to maximally align the simulator operations with the real market.

The Project is implemented with support of Almaty Akimat, with Bank Astana JSC as the general sponsor, Freedom Finance JSC as the general partner, and Tsesna Capital JSC, Kazkom Securities JSC, Centras Securities JSC as the partners of the project.
Project’s prize fund is KZT 1,000,000. The winners will be determined by the outcome of the training trading session. The winners will also get an opportunity to receive on-the-job training at the financial organizations of the partners.

Training trading sessions for the students of the economic and financial disciplines under the Stock Market Simulator project have been carried out throughout Kazakhstan from 2008. Up to 3,000 students participated in the sessions for 8 years. Students from 56 universities of Almaty, Astana, Uralsk, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Petropavlovsk, Karaganda, Ekibastuz, Kostanai, Rudny, Pavlodar, Aktau, Aktobe and Atyrau participated in the sessions for the entire project history. Participation of 1,500 students is planned for 2017
